How to play

- Use the clues: keep green letters where they are, move yellow letters to a new spot, and drop gray letters.

What is Daily Word?
Daily Word is a free Wordle-style word game from 77.today: you have six guesses to find a secret five-letter word. Everyone gets the same word, and a new one starts every day at midnight New York time.
What do the colors mean?
Green means the letter is in the word and in the right spot. Yellow means the letter is in the word but in a different spot. Gray means the letter is not in the word at all. The on-screen keyboard is colored the same way, so you can see which letters are still in play.
Which words can I guess?
Any real five-letter English word from our word list (the public-domain ENABLE list), including plurals and verb forms. The answers themselves are always common everyday words – never names, abbreviations or offensive words.
What happens with repeated letters?
Each letter of the answer can be matched only once. Exact matches turn green first; a repeated letter turns yellow only if the answer still has an unmatched copy of it, otherwise it stays gray.
How do streaks and sharing work?
Your games played, win rate, current streak and best streak are saved in your browser – no sign-up needed. After you finish, Share result copies only the colored grid without letters, so you never spoil the word for friends.
