Why it was recalled

The problem: a fire risk.

NHTSA's defect summary: “Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Allegro Bus, and Phaeton motorhomes, equipped with certain L9 diesel engines, part number D563027BX03. The remote fuel filter hoses may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall.”

The consequence, according to NHTSA: “A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.”
